Games Leaving Game Pass October 2026

Microsoft has updated its Leaving Soon section for Game Pass, showing nine games set to leave mid-October. It’s quite a list, not just because there are nine of them, but also because of which games are part of the lineup.

Included in the lineup is the biggest hit of 2025 which swept numerous Game of the Year awards, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Being such a celebrated title and available across all main tiers, chances are you’ve already played it. But if for some reason you haven’t, make sure to do so before it leaves the service. Its moving and memorable narrative, visually appealing design, and pretty innovative combat make it definitely worth your while. The main story can be completed in under 30 hours, while 100% completion can take almost 80 hours.

If you’ve already finished Expedition 33, there are several other worthwhile games leaving alongside it. Evil West, an action-adventure game with a strong focus on combat, is a good choice if you want something more straightforward and action-heavy. The Casting of Frank Stone, an interactive horror adventure, is another option, particularly for fans of Dead by Daylight and Supermassive Games’ style of storytelling. Nova Roma, a strategy and city-building game, is also leaving the PC Game Pass library. Then there’s A Plague Tale: Requiem, an action-adventure game with stealth and survival elements that continues the story of Amicia and Hugo.

The other games leaving on October 15 are Crime Scene Cleaner, a first-person cleaning simulator with crime-scene investigation elements; Donut County, a puzzle game built around controlling an ever-growing hole; and Pacific Drive, a survival driving game set in a strange and dangerous version of the Pacific Northwest.

Then there’s the free-to-play title, Superball, which will also end its Game Pass perks alongside these departures.
