The Pokemon franchise marked its milestone 30th Anniversary with a special Presents stream packed with surprises, nostalgic callbacks, and a glimpse at what’s next for Trainers everywhere.
From long-rumored projects finally stepping into the spotlight to unexpected returns, the celebration delivered plenty of moments for fans. If you missed the broadcast, here’s a look at everything revealed during February’s Pokemon Presents.
Everything Announced at Pokemon Presents February 2026
- Pokemon Music Collection – a Game Boy-style music player where you plug mini cartridges to play music from Pokemon Red and Blue. Yes, like a cassette player but instead of having multiple songs in one cassette tape, every cartridge is one song. So to listen to the entire collection (for now, as more will most likely be released in the future), you need 45 cartridges for the 45 songs. It’s already available through The Pokemon Center.
- Pokemon Tag Teams – initially introduced on Sun & Moon, these cards are making their way back to the spotlight. While the community is half and half on whether they should return, TPC decided they should.
- Pokemon Mobile Games Update – Anniversary updates for Pokemon Masters EX and Pokemon Cafe Remix will be released in the week. Masters will get the original versions of Red and Pikachu, and some updates on other Pokemons, while Cafe Remix is bringing in the series’ starter Pokemons. TCG Pocket is also getting an update with Paldean Wonders booster pack, available now.
- Pokemon Unite – Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno are now available as playable characters in Unite. Meganium, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr are also coming soon.
- Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness – entering Nintendo Switch 2 Classics catalogue in March. No exact release date was announced though.
- Pokemon Champions – releasing on Nintendo Switch consoles in April 2026. Mobile is also confirmed but launching later this year.
- Pokemon Legends Z-A – Mega Garchomp can be redeemed by claiming a new Mystery Gift in the Mega Dimension DLC.
- Pokemon Pokopia – Pokopia which will be releasing on March 5th, has a new trailer showing some multiplayer features, townbuilding mechanics, and even a new version of Rotom, Stereo Rotom.
- Pokemon Wind and Waves – previously known as Pokemon Generation 10, Wind and Waves was officially revealed and slated to launch sometime in 2027. The reveal trailer shows off the tropical setting and three new starters: grass-type bird Browt, fire-type dog Pombon, and water-type gecko Gecqua.
While this stream focused exclusively on the Pokemon brand, it marks the third showcase from Nintendo overall in recent weeks. Earlier this month, the company hosted a Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, followed by a Nintendo Treehouse Live, making this the latest in a string of major presentations.
