A group called Mogilevech has claimed it has hacked Epic Games, and is offering up to 200GB of stolen date to anyone willing to pay.
Mogilevech, a ransomware group, is claiming to have hacked almost 200GB stolen data from Epic Games, including email addresses, passwords, full names, and payment information. The group has posted on its darknet leak site that it wants a buyer for the stolen data by March 4.
Once they were alerted to the claims, an Epic Games spokesperson told Eurogamer “We are investigating but there is currently zero evidence that these claims are legitimate.”
That’s good news for Epic Games users and Fortnite players, as the group hasn’t specified if the data they’ve supposedly stolen relates to users or employees. Mogilevich’s post on their website only asks for potential buyers to click on a link, and they have not provided proof of the hack, which is seemingly not a concern for Epic.

Epic also referred to a tweet from the group, saying, “The closest thing we have seen to a response is this Tweet, where they allegedly ask for $15k and “proof of funds” to hand over the purported data.”
Mogilevich tells me they are selling the data for 15K and will not provide proof of the breach unless you are looking to purchase it and show "proof of funds."

In response, Epic says they contacted Mogilevech, but they are yet to receive a reply. So, at the moment, there is nothing to worry about, and you can keep playing your games on Epic and keep getting those Fortnite victories.
The deadline the group gave to any potential buyers of the supposedly hacked Epic Games information is March 4. With that date just a few days away, make sure to keep checking Allkeyshop for any updated news and how it affects you.
