Disney Quietly Delisted 14 Games fro Steam Including Armed and Dangerous

Disney has quietly delisted 14 older games from Steam including Armed and Dangerous, with no warning leaving fans scrambling to find them elsewhere.

 

Many longtime gamers and Disney fans woke up to some unfortunate news. Fourteen of Disney’s older games have been suddenly delisted from Steam. There was no warning, no farewell sale. For players who grew up with these titles or had them sitting on a wishlist for “someday,” the sudden disappearance has been especially saddening.

 

Disney Delisted 14 of Its Older Games

With the constant stream of major releases and increasingly realistic graphics, it’s easy to forget about the older games we once loved. Some were classics we meant to revisit, while others were games we always planned to buy but never quite got around to.

Every year brings so many new games that those older titles slowly slip down the priority list. And it’s always a bummer when the next time you think about one of them, it’s already gone.

That’s exactly what many players are feeling now as Disney has quietly removed 14 games from Steam including Armed and Dangerous, Afterlife, Toy Story Mania, and Finding Nemo. There was no announcement prior, or even after, the delisting.

While disappointing, it’s also not entirely surprising since Disney is quite known for vaulting content. Often with no warning.

   

The removals weren’t limited to Steam too. Armed and Dangerous, and Afterlife were also pulled from GOG. Hopefully GOG’s Preservation Program can do something about it down the line.

Although these titles are no longer available for direct purchase on Steam or GOG, players can still find them through key resellers. That said, a word of advice, if you’re considering picking one up, it’s best to check prices now as since the delisting, prices have already gone up.
