Wave Break is an arcade skate-boating game inspired by classics of the genre (Tony Hawk) but with an explosive 80’s crime-filled Miami Vice-themed world. Developed by Funktronic Labs you will be able to grind, grab, kickflip, or shoot your way through victory in the game’s various game modes from a single-player campaign to online multiplayer, where you can even play your own maps, you created.

Reviews

Wave Break is a frantic, over-the-top skateboard with style and moves to burn. Its campaign mode is a welcome addition, and online play and a park editor add variety. All the pieces are here for a sublime tricking experience. The only thing missing is the Steam version’s features, most notably local play. The game is practically screaming for it, and the gameplay perfectly lends itself to local matches.

Wave Break has many redeemable qualities, but there is a negative for every positive. The fact hampers large diverse levels there are only six of them, fun fluid gameplay marred by jarring camera angles and frequent clipping, and a rocking soundtrack only to be let down by performance issues such as frame drops.
