Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin is a real-time strategy based on the Warhammer Age of Sigmar miniature wargame developed by Frontier Developments, wage a brutal campaign to conquer the wild and savage realm of Ghur. Play as one of the four major factions the Stormcast Eternals, Orruk Kruleboyz, Nighthaunt, and many more, experience each story unfold differently with each campaign written by the acclaimed Black Library author, Gavin Thorpe.

• Play with other warlords in online co-op or challenge people from around the world to see who’s the best Warlord of Ghur in Casual or Ranked in both 1 vs. 1 and 2 vs. 2 you can even add up to three AI opponents if you don’t have enough friends.
• Conquest mode is an alternate game mode where players try to take on a procedurally generated campaign that pits players against a series of unpredictable combat scenarios and maps, featuring twists that break the game’s usual conventions.
• Unleash your creativity by constructing your own battlefields using the map editor, dress up your armies with Army Livery, or make your own story with the Scene Editor giving players the ability to pose and place characters wherever they want. Share all of your creations online or download other players’ creations!

If you’re a fan of Age of Sigmar and can accept the game’s scaled back, slower approach to real time strategy, Realms of Ruin hits the mark. It’s a faithful and vibrant recreation of the Orruks, Nighthaunt, Tzeentch and grandly insufferable Stormcast Eternals. Some RTS fans will note the lack of tactical depth, but there’s a place for Realms’ streamlined approach that is welcoming to newcomers and veterans alike.

Great production values, lively and thoughtful RTS battles, and a clear love for the setting make Realms Of Ruin the first truly exciting Age Of Sigmar game. However, fans looking for a pure single-player experience might find its excellent campaign a little too light to justify the price of entry, while Conquest mode is a lacklustre consolation prize.
