- Enjoy sci-fi, shooting, and fighting games in Taito Milestones 2!
- Reminisce and relive the spirit of the action classic games!
- Encounter challenging games and overcome them all!
Reviews
As for the overall presentation, not much has changed from the first TAITO Milestones, but since most of the games offered are much better this time, I can recommend this collection more than the first.
Gaming Age
Dino Rex and Solitary Fighter aren't exactly high points, and considering they're two of three exclusives, much of the appeal of this collection depends on how many titles you may already own, and how much you want Darius II. That said, for those who are yet to dabble in Hamster's series, it's a superb slice of Taito arcade gaming that outdoes its predecessor in terms of quality and appeal, and comes through with solid emulation. There are hundreds of hours of fun to be had here with some of Taito's most deservedly celebrated works.
Nintendo Life
The arcade games that comprise Taito Milestones 2 may not be well-known, but that doesn’t mean there’s no fun to be found here. The collection focuses heavily on shoot ’em ups and platformers, and the best titles come from those genres. The brawlers, unfortunately, are best left forgotten.

TAITO Milestones 2 is revving up for release on Nintendo Switch on August 31, 2023, and I'm nostalgic already! As a fan of classic arcade games, the prospect of reliving TAITO's iconic titles brings back so many memories. The collection of legendary games and their timeless gameplay on the Nintendo Switch is a dream come true. From the retro visuals to the challenging levels, I can't wait to experience the magic of TAITO's arcade classics on the go.
