Sang-Froid: Tales of Werewolves is a strategy video game developed and published by Artifice Studio.
You play as one of the two O’Carrol brothers attempting to protect their sister from the unwanted attentions of the Devil himself. Each day you are given the opportunity to erect buildings and fortifications for the defense of you forest and home as the Devil sends nightly waves of werewolves and other creatures to attack you.
Playing with a top down view during the day to arrange your fortifications and in the third person during the night armed with axe and musket this game allows the player plenty of opportunity for strategy and hands on battle. Should one of your buildings fail in their defense against these creatures you fail the night however if your defenses are a success you will be rewarded with XP and monies which can then be used to increase defenses and weaponry.
While the graphics may be slightly rough edged the soundtrack is simply amazing and unique to any game currently on the market. The storyline is sound and leaves you with hours of thrilling entertainment. Do you have what it take to defend against the Devil?
