So far the game is overall...the same. Whether that's good or bad depends on how much hardcore nostaliga you have for the original. And yes, it is singleplayer only.
This is an 11 years old game re-released, HELLGATE London was a big hit then and sure it will be appreciated by its old and newer fans, a good RPG for its time and still good after all these years with a good price.
