It's a great game, but it needs to go online ASAP, it's really urgent.
Crimson Desert is a masterclass in scale. Originally announced as an MMORPG prequel, its pivot to a single-player action RPG was a genius move, allowing for a focused, cinematic story without losing its massive scope. The world is truly huge, packed with endless activities and skills to master, from intricate mercenary management to physics-based exploration. It’s a dense, visceral experience that feels alive, proving that some of the best adventures are best had solo.

Crimson Desert looks incredibly fun in terms of combat but also one of those games that might be too big for their own good. Embargo has been lifted and some reviews are out, those mostly downplay the story and the meaningless quests. That is a bit of disappointment for me but can't say I wasn't expecting it, all in all, I want to play this in the future but will probably get it on sale.
Crimson Desert is a stunning open-world epic that finally feels like a true next-gen evolution of the fantasy genre. The combat seems incredibly fluid, and the world of Pywell is one of the most detailed environments I've seen in years. It’s a must-play if you love gritty action-RPGs, especially since it manages to feel fresh while hitting the "Witcher meets Dragon's Dogma" vibes.
