About Command and Conquer

Command & Conquer is a classic RTS game developed by Westwood Studios. Are you going to side with the humanistic GDI or bring the world to its knees with the Brotherhood of Nod? Whatever you choose, your enemies will show no mercy, and neither will you.

• Taking place during the late 90s, after a meteorite crashed on the Tiber River, Italy, bringing with it a mysterious but extremely valuable substance, “Tiberium,” the world’s powers vie for its access and ways of exploiting it.
• The two factions include:
  • GDI – Sanctioned by the United Nations, the Global Defense Initiative has one goal: to eliminate multinational terrorism to preserve freedom.
  • NOD – A terrorist group and religious extremist organization that worships tiberium and what it can do to humanity.
• This Version of the game also includes the Covert Operations DLC expansion pack, containing a range of challenging new missions.

Command and Conquer Reviews

The tension produced by so many multiple layers of real-time interaction is what computer gamers live for, and a number of different high-energy soundtracks keep adrenaline levels maxed out. Playing the entire conflict in the role of the other side makes for twice the gameplay value, and I don’t even want to think about what’s going to happen when the six-player networkable version comes out. Highly, highly recommended.
