The Joey Drew Studios team is finally dropping new info on Bendy: Lone Wolf, the new horror adventure in the Bendy series starring Boris, and they’ve confirmed the release date. Let’s find out when!

Bendy: Lone Wolf (B:LW) is the new horror adventure game developed by the team at Joey Drew Studios. It’s a top-down chapter in the Bendy series that acts as a replacement for the prequel Boris and the Dark Survival. In this adventure, we’ll follow Boris, the animated mascot and Bendy’s buddy, through the animation studios of Joey Drew Studios.

You’ll have to survive all kinds of dangers and traps, finding weapons and supplies with roguelike-style gameplay. It was first announced in 2024 as an upgraded version that will replace Boris and the Dark Survival. Bendy: Lone Wolf – Launch Date Confirmed

Following the official announcement of Bendy: Lone Wolf in December 2024, the Joey Drew Studios team has finally announced the release date. Confirming that B:LW, which will replace Boris and the Dark Survival, will be available from 15 August 2025 on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

This was all accompanied by the official trailer introducing the game. In it, we’ll follow the animated wolf Boris through the animation studios, which are filled with monsters and traps. You’ll guide the mascot in a top-down survival horror with a roguelike style. You’ll have to find resources to survive, all while the terrifying presence of the Ink Demon chases Boris down.

Bendy: Lone Wolf – What We Know So Far

Lone Wolf is set to be a new adventure in the Bendy universe, where we’ll follow Boris the wolf. It offers gameplay that’s different from the main series, with a top-down survival roguelike, offering:

• Haunted Halls: Follow Boris through a series of procedurally generated hallways. Search for weapons and resources to help him survive. Monsters, traps, and secrets await.

• Monsters Around Every Corner: The monstrosities from the Dark Puddles will be after Boris. Use traps and well-timed attacks to take them out. But the terrifying Ink Demon will be relentlessly chasing Boris, so you’ll have to run and outsmart it.

There’s also some cool news from the team. The team has confirmed that owners of Boris and the Dark Survival on Steam will get a free copy of B:LW at launch, this 15 August 2025. And we also have confirmation of a Physical edition coming to PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2, scheduled for 24 October 2025.
