A deleted Arena Breakout Infinite post takes aim at Tarkov’s broken 1.0 launch, adding fuel to the long-running tension between the studios.
The Arena Breakout Infinite and Escape from Tarkov teams are at it again as the former seemingly mocks the latter over Tarkov’s disastrous launch. The now deleted post pokes fun at the server issues that plagued Battlestate Games’ big day.
Arena Breakout Infinite Takes a Swipe at Tarkov’s Launch Issues
MoreFun Studio and Battlestate Games “relationship” has turned sour again. A couple of years ago, Battlestate accused MoreFun of blatant plagiarism and going as far as “no one will want to play it for more than 20 minutes.” This post, made on X, backfired though with some gamers calling them insecure and, looking at the bigger picture, actually advertised the game they’re supposed to compete with.
But still, Tarkov’s 1.0 launch was still much-anticipated and the team increased its server capacity to prepare for it. They have, afterall, almost a decade to prepare. That, however, didn’t go as planned.
Many were left unable to make an account, and most couldn’t login due to server issues. As for the players who were lucky enough to get in the game, it still wasn’t smooth sailing. According to a Steam review, “Nothing makes sense. Hit registration behaves completely random. The sound doesn’t work, everyone moves absolutely silently. Bosses and Scavs walk through doors like they don’t exist.”
Battlestate Games soon acknowledged the issues and communicated through their official X account that their technical team is on it.
We thank players for their interest in the release of #EscapefromTarkov 1.0 and are aware that due to high traffic, some players may experience problems connecting to servers and authorising in the game and launcher.

Our technical team is actively working to stabilise the game…
Considering the “rivalry” and the occasional jabs at each other before, MoreFun Studio wouldn’t miss this opportunity to add salt to injury. In a now deleted X post on Arena Breakout Infinite’s X account, the team posted a meme comparing the two. Although Escape from Tarkov wasn’t specifically mentioned, it was obvious. Mind you, it didn’t even say “Other Games”, rather, “Other Game.”
While the fan base of both had front row seats to the studios’ squabbles, the tweet didn’t sit well with many. After a few minutes from posting, it was deleted. Probably a good idea too as the post had some interesting comments like, “…constant slamming of Tarkov on Twitter is shameful…”
Escape from Tarkov fiasco of a launch isn’t just about server and gameplay issues though. The game is also being slammed due to alleged sympathies for the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Pictures are circulating online of Battlestate Games COO Nikita Buyanov and Russian gun enthusiasts 715 Team. According to a report by PC Gamer, the latter “have allegedly supported and taken part in the invasion according to a 2022 report by Ukrainian news outlet Babel.”
No official word was released by Battlestate Games regarding this.
