Apex Legends Getting Team Deathmatch Mode in Season 16.

APEX LEGENDS TEAM DEATHMATCH

Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that the battle royale game will be getting 6v6 Team Deathmatch in upcoming Season 16.

Game mode designer Marty Wong told Kotaku that the devs have “been hearing the community ask for this one for a while.”

As part of Season 16, the Arenas mode is being removed as it’s proved to not be a “good place to practice the core combat loop of Apex,” and instead, Team Deathmatch will come in with players given a chance to “die fast and feel comfortable making mistakes.”

Season 16 will not add any new characters to Apex Legends but will place each existing one into classes, and each class will get an additional combat perk.

Apex Legends Season 16, called Revelry, releases on February 14, giving you a chance to play the new Team Deathmatch mode with your loved one this Valentine’s Day.
