Update Oct 24th – Xbox Game Pass gets another surprise drop this month with Pacific Drive. The game officially launches on Xbox on October 23rd. While this is a day-one launch, Premium members also get to access the game at no additional cost.
Update Oct 22nd – The wave 2 list has now been officially announced. Alongside the reveal are 2 surprise drops for Premium tier. Five more games are coming to the service, four of which are day-one launches. The announcement also includes 2 November additions which are 1000xResist and Football Manager 26. Update Oct 10th – Xbox drops its first surprise addition this month with Heroes of Might and Magic II and III. These two classics, in its definite editions, are now available on PC for Game Pass Ultimate and PC members.
Update Oct 9th – Microsoft has officially revealed the first wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in October. The lineup has a total of 11 games including Ninja Gaiden 4 and Evil West, which will join the library later in the month. Of the list, 3 are day-one additions.
Original publication – Microsoft recently shook the Xbox world with the restructuring of Xbox Game Pass. Yes there have been movements before but this seems to be the largest and, for Ultimate members, the costliest. While people are still reeling from the overhaul, let’s look at the new games we can look forward to this month.
Xbox Game Pass October 2025 Joining Titles
Microsoft announced many things lately but no word yet on the Wave 1 lineup for October. Many were expecting it yesterday since the Leaving Soon section was already updated, but as of writing, still radio silence.
However, thanks to some early confirmation from studios, plus one entry from the September’s wave 2 list, we have quite a lineup already to look forward to. Originally, this included Moonlighter 2 but the studio has since delayed its release to November. It is still coming to Game Pass day-one, just one month after.
There was also a massive game drop for the three tiers on October 1st. So, it’s not out of the question that we might get the Wave 1 announcement only when SOPA officially joins the catalog.
