The Division 2 teases a new winter update set in snowy D.C. by the White House. Something “entirely new” is in the works!

The Division 2 may be several years old, but its momentum hasn’t slowed one bit. With a dedicated community and steady flow of updates, Ubisoft’s looter-shooter RPG continues to evolve, keeping the experience alive and exciting for both new and veteran players. And now, there’s more to look forward to.

The Division 2 Winter Update Features The White House

While players are still deep in the firefight of the recently launched Battle of Brooklyn mini-expansion, the developers aren’t wasting any time stirring up hype for what’s next. Even though the May 27 content drop is still fresh, The Division 2 team has already teased the next major update and it’s taking us to Washington D.C. in the dead of winter.

The reveal came via the game’s official X account, showing off a snowy battleground set right outside the White House. It’s a striking image not only because of the change in scenery, but also because it comes with the caption that the devs are “starting something entirely new in The Division 2.” What that means exactly is still under wraps but it certainly sounds like we’re getting more than just a seasonal facelift. Whether it’s a new mode, storyline, or gameplay feature, we’ll have to wait for the full DLC announcement to know for sure.
