Netherworld Covenant 1.0 launches with expanded classes, new modes, story chapters, and a 20% discount for a limited time.

Netherworld Covenant officially exited Early Access on December 9th. To celebrate its 1.0 launch, the team is offering a 20% launch discount until January 5, 2026.

Netherworld Covenant 1.0 Launched

The soulslike roguelike game Netherworld Covenant, developed by MadGoat Game Studio and published by Infini Fun and CriticalLeap, made its full release debut on December 9, 2026. It spent six months in Early Access to stellar reviews.

Many commend the responsive combat and great mechanics, often likening it to Hades and Lords of the Fallen.   • Addition of Chapters 5 and 6, completing the ending animation
• System Overhaul & Massive Content Additions
  • Four new character skins
  • Significant additions and restructuring of the Aura and Relic systems
  • Expanded variety of random events, accessories, and secondary weapons
  • Over 50 optimizations covering character mobility, resource allocation, and balance adjustments

To celebrate the 1.0 release, a 20% launch discount is now live on Steam. And since this coincides with the Steam Winter Sale, the launch discount is extended until January 5, 2026.

Netherworld Covenant is a dark fantasy 3D isometric action roguelike that throws you into precision-based, soulslike combat and dangerous spectral pacts. As a survivor of a cataclysm, you wield the forbidden Nether Lantern to bond with fallen allies and descend into procedurally generated labyrinths crawling with corrupted heroes and demonic lords.

Master parries, dodges, and the Ethereal Dash while summoning and customizing nine Soul Companions to shape your combat style. Between runs, you return to a camp at the edge of realms to upgrade weapons, tap into the Nether Lantern’s azure flames to bridge dimensions, and slowly uncover the truth behind the catastrophe.
