With the last city on Earth being Xion, the final bastion of humanity where we begin the desperate mission to reclaim the planet.

Stellar Blade: Play the Demo this Weekend
With less than 2 weeks until the official launch of Stellar Blade on PC, Shift Up and Playstation have finally released the demo on Steam. The game demo is available from May 30, 2025, allowing us to play the prologue and the first mission of the anticipated action adventure from the South Korean team Shift Up.
The game demo gives us a first look at what to expect, including the first stage with a boss fight. Additionally, the team informs us that we’ll be able to continue the adventure in the full game by carrying over the demo save. The demo announcement also comes with the news of the removal of the regional lock in many countries, a topic widely discussed recently.

Stellar Blade: Main Features on PC and Latest News
What SB offers on PC is an enhanced graphic version of the PC port. But the Shift Up team has confirmed that there will be no content difference between the two platforms. The main features on PC will be as follows:
- Widescreen Resolution Support: With support for 21:9 and 32:9 screens and resolutions
- Performance and Framerate Options: Upscaling and Frame Generation options with Nvidia DLSS 4, Nvidia DLAA Anti-Aliasing, and Nvidia Reflex for improved response times. With support for AMD FSR 3 and Fluid Motion Frames.
- Texture Pack and Dualsense Support: Ability to download the 4K texture pack and native support for the Dualsense controller with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
Additionally, the Shift Up team has shared system requirements dedicated to laptops. The minimum requirements for laptops include an i7 11370H and an RTX 3050Ti with 4GB of VRAM, aiming for 60fps at 1080p. It’s interesting to note that the i7 is a rebranded 35w version of the i7 1185G7 with 4 cores and 8 threads. There have already been numerous positive feedbacks on the performance at 60fps even on more modest systems.
