Accessibility and the “Zombie Phobia” Mode

The Roots biome can be a bit much for some players. The new Zombie Phobia Mode swaps out the mushroom-infested enemies for a less disturbing design.

If that’s still not enough, you can remove them entirely through the Custom Run settings. It’s a great move for making the game more inclusive without stripping away the challenge for others.


Stability and the Infamous “Rope Shooter” Bug

Aside from the big features, this patch kills some literal game-breaking bugs. The “division by zero” error with the Rope Shooter—which used to send players into the void—is officially gone.
