The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition hits Xbox Game Pass with all DLCs included, while the original version gets partially delisted.

The Outer Worlds Spacer’s Choice Edition Arrives on Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass members have a major remaster to check out today as The Outer Worlds Spacer’s Choice Edition officially joins the catalog. While the 2019 original has been available on the service for a while, this upgraded version was published by Private Division in 2023 instead of Xbox Game Studios so subscribers had to wait a bit longer for it to arrive.

Starting May 27, 2026, The Outer Worlds Spacer’s Choice Edition is available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Premium tier members. Along with visual upgrades and performance improvements, this edition also includes both major expansions, Murder on Eridanos and Peril on Gorgon.

Also joining Game Pass today is Echo Generation 2 which launches day-one for Ultimate and PC Game Pass members.

The Outer Worlds Delisting Effective Today

Coinciding with this update, the original base version of The Outer Worlds is undergoing a partial delisting today for most modern platforms. This is to establish the Spacer’s Choice Edition as the primary version going forward.

While current owners will retain full access to the original game in their libraries, anyone who bought the base version before today is eligible for a free upgrade to the remastered edition on current-gen consoles and PC. The original will still remain available only on Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
