Nintendo Announces Surprise Stream for February 24 Featuring Mario and Pokemon

Nintendo Treehouse Live Presentation officially announced for February 24 at 10PM GMT, featuring Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Pokemon Pokopia.

 

Nintendo users received a wonderful surprise yesterday as the company announced that a new stream is scheduled for this month. Going live later today, Nintendo Treehouse will focus on Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Pokemon Pokopia, and will feature hand-on gameplay that will last for over an hour.

 

Nintendo Treehouse Live Announced for February 24

Super Mario Bros. Wonder Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park expansion and Pokemon Pokopia are both releasing next month and while that’s just a few stones away, Nintendo is letting us bask even more in all the excitement with a live stream scheduled later today.

In a surprise announcement, the company revealed that a Nintendo Treehouse Live Presentation featuring these two titles is scheduled for February 24 at 2PM PT / 5PM ET / 10PM GMT. It will feature hand-one gameplay (probably some surprises too) and will last for 60/80 minutes.

There’s a bit of confusion with regards to the duration. The Youtube video says 80 minutes while the official announcement says 60. Whichever is correct, we’re just excited that it’s a long broadcast as we can’t wait to see more of these games.

Actually, it is very interesting to see what the Treehouse will show for Pokopia. The other Nintendo stream this month, scheduled to air on February 27, is a Pokemon Presents broadcast. We know Nintendo is all in on Pokopia but 2 streams only days apart? Interesting.

   

Super Mario Bros. Wonder Switch 2 Edition + the Meetup in Bellabel Park expansion is launching exclusively on Switch 2 on March 26. While Pokemon Pokopia, also a Switch 2 exclusive, is on its last leg and will release on March 5, 2026.
