With the latest Playstation Plus Extra and Premium titles rolling out to subscribers, Sony has also started updating the “Last Chance to Play” section with the next group of games set to leave the service. The Japanese site has now been updated, giving us an early look at four titles currently scheduled to depart next month.
Games Leaving PlayStation Plus September 2026
The latest update to Japan’s Last Chance to Play section lists four games leaving Playstation Plus Extra and Premium on September 18: EA Sports Madden NFL 26, Persona 5 Tactica, Toy Story 2, and Toy Story 3.
The two Toy Story games surprised many since we don’t usually see titles from the Classics Catalog appear on the departure list. But then considering that remasters for both these titles are on their way to launch in a couple of months, it does make sense with licensing.
Toy Story 2 is one of six games bundled in the upcoming Toy Story Retro Roundup! release, while Toy Story 3 is already being delisted from various storefronts to make way for the upcoming Toy Story 3 Complete Edition.
EA Sports Madden NFL 26 follows a similar path as the series’ latest entry, NHL 27, has just been released. Then to round out the list is Persona 5 Tactica which is another highly iconic title. So it may be a short list but it’s definitely a massive loss to subscribers.
The US and European versions of the Last Chance to Play section could include additional games once they receive their own updates. As usual, we’ll update this list if more games are added or any of the current ones change.
