Thanks to the early update, Japan! Sony has not officially announced nor updated the Last Chance To Play section in EU and Americas but it has in the East. And everyone will be pleased that the list of games leaving Playstation Plus Extra and Premium tiers isn’t long. In fact, only seven.

 

Games Leaving PlayStation Plus September 2025

Sony has updated the Last Chance to Play section on Playstation Plus for Japan. And based on previous months, this should reflect the same for the EU and USA.

For the month of September, 7 games are scheduled to leave PS Plus. The list includes well-predicted The Plucky Squire which was added as a day-one launch September of last year. That’s a normal, actually pretty good stint in the service especially compared to UFC 5 which only lasted 6 months by September. That is a short stay especially considering most games stay on about 1-2 years on average.

To be fair though, this was already extended to one month since initially, UFC 5 was included in August’s list. It was widely reported on last month but eventually Sony pulled it back, only to include it for September.

Here are the 7 games set to exit the PS Plus Game Catalog on September 16:

  • The Plucky Squire
  • UFC 5
  • Road 96
  • Pistol Whip
  • Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir
  • FIST: Forged In Shadow Torch
  • Dragon’s Crown Pro

While it’s always sad to see games leave PS Plus, it’s good to know that it isn’t a purge nor includes God of War Ragnarok and Ghost of Tsushima which many are expecting to see in the list soon.

Also on the positive side of things, new games are entering the PS Plus Game Catalog today including a day-one launch title, Sword of the Sea.
