What We Know So Far About the FATAL FRAME II Remake
So this time we’re getting a full-blown Remake of the second chapter in the Project Zero series. Whereas in recent years, the Koei Tecmo team has released Remasters of the 4th (Mask of the Lunar Eclipse) and 5th (Maiden of Black Water) installments. The Second Chapter itself saw an enhanced port of Project Zero 2 on the Wii back in 2011.
Otherwise, it seems that the story will remain mostly unchanged. This means the Amakura twin sisters are back as the protagonists, with a story that explores the tragedy that struck the village of Minakami. And of course, the return of the famous Camera Obscura at the center of the gameplay. It remains to be seen about the endings, whether there will be variations or new additional endings. Just as the Wii version added 2 new ones.
