Definitely not what many hoped it to be, The Last of Us Part 2 is definitely one of the biggest release on Sony console, with a superb gameplay, amazing visuals, let down a bit by the questionable direction of the overall story which can be explained and justified until a certain extent, but hard to swallow when certain decision ruined the initial impression of the game.
If you haven’t enough of the first game story you’ll want to complete this one too, otherwise it’s it’s your choice.
Naughty Dog has once again delivered a masterpiece that challenges conventions and dives deep into the complex and often brutal nature of humanity. The game’s narrative is bold, taking unexpected twists and exploring the consequences of choices made in the first installment. The character development is exceptional, with Ellie’s journey being both harrowing and introspective.
The gameplay mechanics are refined and intense, offering a mix of stealth, exploration, and visceral combat. The attention to detail in the environments and animations is staggering, creating a world that feels lived-in and hauntingly realistic. The soundtrack is hauntingly beautiful, perfectly capturing the emotions of each scene. While the game has faced some polarizing opinions, it is undeniably a work of art that sparks conversations and challenges players’ perspectives.

While I didn’t love the story, gameplay is amazing. There aren’t that many games like TLOU, so why not go with the original?
There was a lot of controversy and hate towards this game, for really no reason. This game is great in many aspects and while maybe it is not exactly what people were expecting to see, and maybe not as impactful as the first part, it is still a piece of art in narrative
