Hollow Knight: Silksong is the kind of sequel that actually earns the wait,the movement is sharp, the fights have that “one more try” pull, and the world has a quieter, stranger mood that makes exploring addictive without relying on big spectacle. It’s also nice seeing it get steady fixes and tweaks after launch, and the free Sea of Sorrow expansion planned for 2026 makes it feel like Team Cherry isn’t just shipping it and moving on.

Silksong is the new king of Metroidvanias. For less than €20, you get dozens of hours of gameplay. It's difficult to achieve 100% completion, with challenging bosses, arenas, and platforming sections. There are lots of secrets, optional content, and varied quests that make sense. Everything is more polished than in the first game. And the title of GOTY is within reach. I don't know if it's the favorite, but it's definitely a contender.
After so long we can finally buy and play Hollow Knight Silksong, one of the most awaited games ever, there was an absolute hype ball around it. But behind that what lies is a very good 2D metroidvania with cute graphics, lots of exploration and secrets, hard bosses, even harder bosses and hours and hours of entertainment. It was worth the wait so to anyone who has still not played it, go get it, it is so cheap that it is almost a steal, won't regret.
