I’m not a fan of hero shooters, but I am for Borderlands game and I must say that FragPunk looks exactly as a BL shooter would be, full of cool weapons and skills, awesome heroes models and the addition of some cards that alter some of the properties of the match like big or small heads, no gravity etc, making every match a new funny experience, and of course it is free, so I’m gonna give it a try for sure and maybe I’ll end hooked at a hero shooter for the first time
This looks like a fun hero shooter with a lot of replayability. Each match is determined by random cards that give special abilities. As long as they are not locked behind the paywall, the feature sounds promising. For a free-to-play FPS, FragPunk looks quite great, but I remain a bit sceptical for now.
FragPunk’s got my attention, love the bold art style and how fast-paced the gameplay looks. If the multiplayer is as chaotic and fun as it seems, it could be a solid pick for shooter fans. I’m just hoping it brings something fresh to the table. Definitely curious to see how it turns out.
FragPunk is yet another online versus arcade FPS set in a fictional/fantasy universe, following in the footsteps of a long line of games that I won't list here. The studio is betting big on a clear model: free-to-play but with a season pass with cosmetic content, like many of its competitors. It's 5v5 with 12 heroes, 17 weapons at launch and maps whose rules change as you progress, so it's quite dynamic. Original enough to stand out from the crowd and set the e-sports world alight?
