Perfect franchise for football fans and especially those who want to delve in the most strategic aspects of the sport. That said, this most recent installment seems a bit underbaked, players mostly complain about a poor UI, bugs and lack of good analytics. Overall, I'd say this is an easy skip, unless you haven't played FM in ages and find this one at a good price.
FM26 feels like an evolution rather than a revolution. The match engine and tactical tools are deeper, giving more control over how your team performs, but the interface still trips you up sometimes and a few features feel half-finished. It’s solid for fans of the series, though not everything clicks perfectly right away.
I've been playing this series for a long time and I have to say, the new version is really good. Transfers are more credible and talents develop more realistically. There are still a few minor quirks, but nothing dramatic. In any case, I've sunk a lot of time into it again.
