Everwind is an adventure game with nautical mechanics… but set in the sky. Flying cities, unique clouds, mysterious islands – the game offers a unique setting. The art style is reminiscent of voxels or Minecraft, but with a more polished finish. Otherwise, it’s an action game featuring loot and equipment crafting; it remains fairly basic, but there’s also terraforming and base defence... it’s very comprehensive.
Everwind is a first-person survival RPG where you build and pilot a flying island-ship to explore a voxel-based world filled with dungeons and floating islands. The "flying base" concept is a brilliant evolution of the Minecraft formula, making exploration feel much more adventurous and less tedious. It’s definitely rough around the edges, expect some slow travel and empty spaces, but it's a very promising start if you want a sandbox with more direction.
Everwind is a new voxel fantasy RPG adventure with a huge world to explore, alone or with friends, and lots of adventures to have and things to discover. Lately there is a new wave of these games, all look similar but the core mechanics are different. This one is more focused on magic and fighting and building a flying ship to travel the islands than hard survival or farming. So more action oriented and with the tons of content voxel games deliver due to faster development cycles.
