Battlefield 6 Release Date Accidentally Revealed By EA On A Now-Deleted Page
EA published Battlefield 6 release date in a now deleted page. The game is unofficially confirmed by EA to be October 10th.
EA just dropped Battlefield 6’s reveal trailer but it looks like it’s not the only thing they released. The game now has a long string of leaks which almost seemed like it was part of the marketing strategy, unless of course, the internal communication is in scrambles. Either way, Battlefield 6 release date now points to October 10, 2025.
Battlefield 6 Release Date Found On EA’s Website
While the only confirmed date as far as Battlefield 6 is concerned was July 24th being the reveal date, there are 2 more semi-confirmed dates floating around. First was the August 4th open beta date which dataminers were able to uncover in EA app’s API. It was ruled out that this date was the build publication date and not necessarily the start of open beta. However many still think it is.
The second is October 10th for the launch date. Unlike looking at behind the scene scripts, this date actually came from a published page from EA’s website. Reddit, the bottomless pit of internet sleuths, spotted the game’s legal disclaimer stating that the preorder offer expires on October 10th. That only means the launch date.
The page is now deleted and only shows a 404 error page. But of course, not before a screenshot.

This official leak also supports Dealabs’s Billbil-kun earlier report that The Telegram group 1BF were able to dig out October 10th from the EA app launcher as well. Not only that, as per the report, there will also be two editions available: Standard and Phantom. While there is an “early open beta access” found in the API, this report says that the actual game release (not beta) will not have any early access.
Many are excited for the game’s release but many are also skeptical following the fiasco that is Battlefield 2042, even urging gamers to not preorder. Hopefully EA can redeem Battlefield with this one and take on Call of Duty Black Ops 7, also launching this year.
