It’s finally official Avatar fans, the wait is coming to an end. Avatar Legends The Fighting Game now has a confirmed release date and it’s arriving right in the middle of a stacked summer lineup.

Gameplay Group has announced that Avatar Legends The Fighting Game will launch on July 2, 2026, bringing the elemental brawler to PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2. Even better, crossplay is confirmed so players across all platforms can fight it out together right from day one.

The release date reveal came alongside a preorder trailer that also broke down what players can expect in terms of editions and bonuses. At the moment, only the Steam version is available for preorder, while PlayStation and Xbox users can wishlist the game for now. It’s safe to expect preorders to open on those platforms soon. On the Nintendo side, the game’s store page hasn’t gone live yet.

As previously reported, the game will launch with a 12-character roster, featuring some of the most iconic names in the series. That includes Aang, Katara, Sokka, Zuko, Azula, Toph, and Korra.
