Train Sim World 6: What’s New in Dovetail Games’ Latest Train Sim

As is tradition, TSW6 is more of an update than a truly new entry in the series. This time, it brings 3 new Routes, equipment, new units, and customization. Specifically, the new additions this time are:

  • Morristown Line: NJ TRANSIT’s suburban route aboard the III EMU, ALP-46, and MultiLevel cars.
  • Riviera Line: GWR services between English coastal towns aboard the “Intercity” Class 802 and Class 150/2 “Sprinter”.
  • Bahnstrecke: From Leipzig to Dresden, Germany’s oldest long-distance railway line, aboard the ICE-T and BR 442.

On top of that, there are additional trains in the Deluxe and Special Editions. It also brings a revamped Photo Mode to capture your most iconic moments. Plus, the classic Free Roam, Conductor, and Creator Club modes are back. And don’t forget the return of the Free Starter Pack, available until 11 November 2025, to try the game with the Training Center.

In Conclusion

It’s become an annual event for huge fans of the series. Although, like in recent years, it’s mainly about content additions rather than new features. With a small revamp of the modes and Photo Mode, and it’s still a game based on UE4.

It brings some new routes and trains, and future DLC content will be added later. Plus, it maintains content compatibility with previous versions. So, what do you think of Train Sim World 6? Let us know in the comments!
