When Square Enix and Human Head Studios first unveiled The Quiet Man at this year’s E3, people didn’t quite know what to make of it. Since then, we’ve gotten a better idea of what the live-action and CG hybrid game is all about. Now, Square Enix has released a new trailer revealing just when the game will be out, and its sooner that you think.
The trailer follows the same pattern as the previous one, starting with live action sequences and then shifting to CG for gameplay. This time around, we see the protagonist Dane watching from the back of Club Moonrise as a beautiful pianist nervously takes the stage then starts to play. It seriously induced flashbacks of one Final Fantasy 8 scene involving Laguna and Julia. But then again, Dane’s scene doesn’t end as happily as Laguna’s.

Square Enix has previously said that the game is designed to be finished in one sitting, with the entire story unraveling in a single in-game night. A single playthrough will last only about 3 hours.
The Quiet Man launches on November 1st on PC and PS4.
