Remedy Entertainment’s lawyers just trademarked “CONTROL Resonant,” which practically screams a Control 2 reveal. Also, there is heavy chatter about the KOTOR Remake (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic) making a miraculous return from development hell.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Remake

According to Insider Gaming, Ubisoft has a mystery title landing by April 2026. Leaks via PEGI suggest it’s the Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag remake (titled “Resynced“). If that’s true, seeing it here makes total sense.

 

Expectations and Absent Games

It wouldn’t be The Game Awards without some speculation. With Xbox approaching its 25th Anniversary, eyes are on Microsoft. Could we see more of Gears of War: E-Day or Fable?

We also suspect Crimson Desert will get a final trailer before its March 2026 launch. Keep an eye out for SEGA as well—they love this stage and could drop anything from Virtua Fighter to a Persona 4 revival.

Who is Skipping Class?

Save your hopes for another day on these two:

  • CD Projekt Red: Confirmed no show. No Witcher 4, no Cyberpunk 2.
  • Ubisoft: The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake will not be there.
