When and Where to Watch The Game Awards 2025
Let’s be honest, this is the one night a year where we happily sit through three hours of ads just for those sweet “World Premiere” moments. Unlike our friends in Europe who have to pull an all-nighter, the timing is perfect for US viewers.
Here is the official schedule for the big night:
- Date: Thursday, December 11, 2025
- Start Time: 7:30 PM ET / 4:30 PM PT / 1:30 AM CET 12 December
- Duration: Expect a marathon—likely between 2.5 to 3 hours.
- Where to Stream: YouTube and Twitch (official channels).
If you want the raw feed, stick to the official streams. If you prefer commentary (and let’s face it, hype reactions), co-streamers will be all over Twitch.
Celebrate the best — and see what’s NEXT — in video games! 🎮✨

Confirmed Announcements: What We Know
Geoff Keighley loves to tease us, and this year is no exception. While we usually get surprised, a solid list of titles has already been confirmed for the show.
Honestly, the lineup is already looking stacked. Here is what is officially locked in for the showcase:
- Tomb Raider: We are finally getting a look at the future of the franchise.
- LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight: Expect some brick-based justice.
- Exodus: A new trailer is confirmed for this sci-fi RPG.
- Resident Evil Requiem: A new look is coming, and rumors point to Leon’s official reveal.
- Total War: A new entry is coming, and for the first time, it’s hitting Xbox and PlayStation.
- Phantom Blade Zero: Finally, we are getting a release date.
- Invincible VS: Release date reveal plus a new character drop.
- Wildflower Interactive: The first game from the studio led by the former Uncharted director.
Additionally, Evanescence will perform “Afterlife” live, so expect some heavy musical vibes to break up the trailers.

The Rumor Mill: What Might Show Up
This is where things get spicy. The rumor mill is churning out some heavy hitters for 2026, and if even half of these are true, the internet is going to break.
Lords of the Fallen 2 & Diablo
It is all but confirmed that we will see a trailer for Lords of the Fallen 2. Meanwhile, Blizzard is expected to unveil the second expansion for Diablo, with insiders claiming it features something fans have been “waiting a long time for.”
Control 2 & Star Wars
Remedy Entertainment’s lawyers just trademarked “CONTROL Resonant,” which practically screams a Control 2 reveal. Also, there is heavy chatter about the KOTOR Remake (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic) making a miraculous return from development hell.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Remake
According to Insider Gaming, Ubisoft has a mystery title landing by April 2026. Leaks via PEGI suggest it’s the Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag remake (titled “Resynced“). If that’s true, seeing it here makes total sense.

Expectations and Absent Games
It wouldn’t be The Game Awards without some speculation. With Xbox approaching its 25th Anniversary, eyes are on Microsoft. Could we see more of Gears of War: E-Day or Fable?
We also suspect Crimson Desert will get a final trailer before its March 2026 launch. Keep an eye out for SEGA as well—they love this stage and could drop anything from Virtua Fighter to a Persona 4 revival.
Who is Skipping Class?
Save your hopes for another day on these two:
- CD Projekt Red: Confirmed no show. No Witcher 4, no Cyberpunk 2.
- Ubisoft: The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake will not be there.
In Conclusion
The Game Awards 2025 is shaping up to be a pivotal night to set the stage for 2026. Whether you are tuning in for the awards or just the “World Premieres,” it is going to be a loud night on social media.
