Bethesda is celebrating 30 years of The Elder Scrolls, which included a brief mention of the upcoming Elder Scrolls 6 and a thank you to fans of the series.
Bethesda Game Studios’ The Elder Scrolls is 30 years old, and the company has celebrated by sending a message to fans thanking them for the last three decades in what has become one of the biggest RPG franchises of all time.
In the message, Bethesda thanked fans for what has been a fantastic 30- years since the beginning ot this incredible journey through Tamriel with the launch of The Elder Scrolls Arena.” And for those of us who are old enough to remember the MS-DOS days, the Elder Scrolls experience has been a wonderful adventure into many chapters of what has set the standard in the genre. Every game has been unique and a reminder of why we love video games and exploration.
The beauty, though, is that the series continues to evolve for newer players, with Bethesda mentioning the upcoming The Elder Scrolls: Castles mobile game and even the long-awaited The Elder Scrolls 6.
Unfortunately for us all, the only bit of news Bethesda revealed about The Elder Scrolls 6 is that they are testing it and “playing early builds” which has filled them with “the same joy, excitement, and promise of adventure.”
