TCG Card Shop Simulator leaves Early Access on September 15, 2026, after 2 years. The game launched in September 2024 and has since evolved into a major indie success. The game has already sold more than 3.5 million copies. Behind the title is the Malaysian solo developer Ding Shen Sia.

- TCG Card Shop Simulator launches as Version 1.0 on September 15, 2026, leaving Early Access after two years.
- With the Tetramon TCG, players can use their collected cards for actual decks and battles for the first time.
- Alongside PC and Xbox, the game will also be released for the first time on PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
With Version 1.0, one of the most requested features is added to the game. In a month, you can actually play the fictional Tetramon TCG. At the same time, the game will be released on additional platforms. Starting September 15, TCG Card Shop Simulator will also be available for PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Until now, the game has been available on Steam, Xbox Series, and is even included in Xbox Game Pass. The announcement also featured a new trailer, visually inspired by 90s Saturday morning cartoons.
TCG Card Shop Simulator 1.0 Also Releases on Consoles on September 15
The full release of TCG Card Shop Simulator is set for September 15, 2026. The core gameplay loop known from Early Access naturally remains intact. You open your own trading card shop and sell booster packs alongside other products. You must first order these items, stock your shelves, and set the prices yourself. Customers must then be served. Later on, you unlock employees for such tasks, and the store continues to grow through upgrades. What makes the game so special, however, is that you can open boosters yourself and collect rare cards.
The primary focus so far has been on building your store and expanding your personal collection. Collecting cards, in particular, was a major part of the game and allowed you to earn significant revenue. However, you could not do much more than collect and sell those cards. Version 1.0 bridges exactly this gap. The Tetramon TCG finally becomes playable.
With the release of Version 1.0, the game is also being launched much more broadly. Previously, the title was available for PC and Xbox Series. But with the full release, you can play the game for the first time on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. The launch across all platforms is announced for September 15.
The Tetramon TCG Finally Becomes Playable With Version 1.0
With the full release of TCG Card Shop Simulator, the existing Tetramon card game becomes fully playable. Starting with Version 1.0, you can actually build decks using your collected cards. You can then use these decks to fight card duels, massively changing the overall purpose of your collection. Instead of simply gathering all the cards to complete your binder, you now want to find specific ones to battle with. This gives opening boosters an additional gameplay incentive.

The developer, O.P. Neon Games, describes this feature as the most requested by the community. Previously, only NPCs could participate in tournaments within your shop, which provided an extra source of income. Now, you can play matches against other NPCs right in your store. Additionally, there is a new Tournament Mode where you can host tournaments with NPCs. The current management system remains intact alongside these new features.
