Survive the Fall (StF) is the real-time strategic RPG from the Polish team at Angry Bulls Studio. Published by Toplitz Productions, the game offers an open-world adventure with an isometric view in a post-apocalyptic world. Taking us to a future where a meteor hit Earth, causing the collapse of civilization.
After many years, we can finally explore this new, changed Earth and rebuild civilization. The game was first announced on March 17, 2021, followed by the first playtests in 2024, and the recent announcement of its release date. Today marks the much-anticipated official launch of the Angry Bulls Studio RPG adventure. With an open-world apocalyptic style to explore. Filled with mysteries and dangers to face, and a crafting and managing system to accompany the whole experience. The main features include:
- An Entire World to Explore: A planet deeply changed after the meteorite strike in 2023. A world to explore, full of secrets and dangers lurking at every corner. Discover what happened to the planet and learn about the different factions.
- Assemble a Team and Fight: You won’t be alone on your journey. You can form a team of up to 3 characters. Assigning various skills, equipment, and resources, including ammo and medical supplies. You’ll also decide on your approach, whether to go in guns blazing or use stealth.
- Build, Manage, and Survive: During the adventure, you can create a camp. Unlocking and expanding it with over 30 structures, accepting new survivors, gathering essential resources to survive, and crafting weapons and other items.

I am quite intrigued by this release, because I love survival games with management aspects and hard choices, especially in a post-apocalyptic setting. Survive the Fall looks interesting, with a nice design. I've heard it's more linear and not open-world as it pretended to be, but it might be not that bad. I'll wait for more reviews to try it though.
