Tower of Babel: Survivors of Chaos is the new hack & slash roguelite from Nanoo Games. A South Korean development studio mainly active in the mobile gaming industry, introducing a bold new PC game with this entry.

The game was first revealed in August 2024 and a demo was released in January 2025. It received great initial feedback, followed by the announcement of the Early Access release date in April. As announced on April 21, 2025, the Nanoo Games team is finally preparing for the launch of Tower of Babel: Survivors of Chaos, a roguelike hack & slash game where you’ll climb the Tower of Babel and fight hordes of enemies. The game is available now, May 20, 2025, in Early Access on Steam.

Tower of Babel: Survivors of Chaos – Gameplay & Main Features

As the theme itself suggests, the game is a mix between Diablo-style hack & slash and Vampire Survivors. Featuring roguelike survivor gameplay, where you fight hordes of enemies and gather loot, offering:

• Upgrade Weapons and Equipment: You can not only create your own build but also further upgrade weapons and equipment.

• Climb the Tower: A tower full of enemies and dangerous bosses, where you must prepare for the challenge. A gameplay loop between loot, upgrades, and action.

• Loot & Builds: Tons of loot to find with varying rarities, allowing you to inspect and upgrade. Create different combinations with random effects to build your ideal setup.

The Early Access includes 3 Classes and a dozen floors with various enemies and bosses. The team will continue to balance and fix based on initial feedback. They will also add new Heroes, enemies, bosses, and of course loot throughout Early Access.
