Risk of Rain was first released on November 8, 2013, and ten years later, Hoopoo Games has launched its remake, Risk of Rain Returns. Fully remastered, there are new features, new ways to play, and an overhauled multiplayer experience.
Risk of Rain Returns is a remaster of the original roguelike with tons of new features that make it almost an entirely new game.
Petrichor V is home to logs, stones, and Gup, all of which you can search under to discover hidden secrets.
Each run will get progressively more challenging but don’t worry, as you’ll unlock new abilities and skills that you’ll need to master if you’re to survive.
To help you along the way, you can recruit 15 survivors, including The Drifter, a brawler who collects scrap from the enemies you defeat to spawn powerful items.
And let’s not forget the almost a dozen artifacts that will help you mutate your run to make things easier or more difficult. It’s your choice.
Oh, and you won’t have to go it alone as Risk of Rain Returns features both split screen and online co-op.
