Phantom Fury is a first-person action game and the sequel to Iron Fury. It is set several years after the first game where you play as Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison again, as she wakes up from a coma. With a new bionic arm, Shelly is tasked with securing a dangerous artifact called the Demon Core. The game sees Shelly travel across the United States as she fights off enemies and tries to save humanity.

The game features a large arsenal of weapons including shotguns, pistols, and grenade launchers, as well as a variety of skills and gadgets. The game also has a focus on environmental interaction, with players able to use objects in the environment to their advantage.




Phantom Fury Steam Release

After years of development and a lot of anticipation, Phantom Fury has finally landed on PC on April 23, 2024.

We had our first glimpse of the game last year when the demo came out on Steam. Unfortunately, it was underwhelming to say the least. In fact, fans took on several forums to air out their disappointment. Since then, a second demo was requested but as the devs had a clear path on when they want the full game to release, efforts and resources were focused on Phantom Fury Steam release.

It’s been a solid 6 months of development since then so gamers and fans are again excited to what the full game can offer. The demo might not have gone as planned but it did serve its purpose getting quality feedback from the gaming community.



Will Phantom Fury have a console version?

While Phantom Fury Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch versions are planned, no set date was given for its release. The game also does not have a dedicated page yet on any of the console’s online sites.

Considering that it took quite a while for the game to release on PC, it will take years before we see the console version out. Well, if it ever does.
