Players will step into the shoes of Soul, a skilled assassin framed for the murder of his clan leader. Saved by a mysterious healer, he is given exactly 66 days to live, forcing a race against time to uncover the truth.

The game was originally targeted for a September release before S-GAME shifted the launch to October 29, 2026. As previously reported during the State of Play delay announcement, the studio opted for extra time to polish the experience for day-one players rather than relying on post-launch patches.

The extra refinement time will benefit the highly anticipated combat mechanics. Drawing inspiration from Hong Kong martial arts cinema and traditional Hung Ga kung fu, the combat blends fast-paced combo strings reminiscent of titles like Ninja Gaiden and Sekiro.

With the final build complete and the release date secured, the focus now shifts to the impending gameplay showcase. The upcoming 11-minute trailer will provide the clearest look yet at whether the ambitious Kung Fu Punk title can deliver on its high expectations.
