Atlus utilized the PAX West panel to premiere a new combat trailer of Persona 4 Revival focused on Kanji Tatsumi. The first-year high school student returns with his signature electric Persona, Take-Mikazuchi.
English voice actor Damon Mills highlighted Kanji’s multifaceted personality during a live dubbing session. Mills noted that the character balances a delinquent reputation with a delicate upbringing, creating a compelling narrative arc regarding social norms.
The second broadcast also detailed returning secondary characters. Ryotaro Dojima continues his role as the veteran detective investigating the serial murders, while his partner Tohru Adachi retains his reckless and talkative demeanor.
Nanako Dojima returns to assist with household chores while supporting her busy father. Furthermore, General Producer Kazuhisa Wada explicitly confirmed the return of the fan-favorite Funky Student NPC during the PAX West Q&A session.

The Pathfinder system caters to both speed-focused players and completionists. The guiding light indicates the direct path forward, which simultaneously highlights unexplored side paths for players seeking hidden loot. The developers confirmed this feature includes an on/off toggle in the final release.
Developing these expanded events proved challenging for the studio. The event production team expanded the scope so significantly that Atlus had to pull staff from across the entire company to meet strict deadlines.
Soundtrack Overhauls and New Vocal Additions
Sound composer Ryota Kozuka detailed the extensive audio overhaul required for Persona 4 Revival. The Atlus Sound Team faithfully updated classic tracks while boldly rearranging others to match the modernized visual aesthetic.
Shihori Sasaki serves as the new primary vocalist for the remake. The soundtrack features numerous unannounced vocal tracks, including fully vocalized versions of instrumental songs from the original game, such as the newly previewed “A Sky Full of Stars -Revival-“.
