PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC is the new second remake chapter in the PAC-MAN WORLD series. Following a first remake that arrived in 2022 from the team at Now Production, this second installment promises to be even richer. It was officially unveiled during the July 2025 Nintendo Direct.

PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC: The Opening Trailer for the New Adventure in Pac-World
With just a few days left until the launch of PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC, the Bandai Namco team brings new updates. The second remake in the World series revamps the classic 3D adventure of Puck, originally released in 2002. This chapter, we remind you, will be released on September 25, 2025, on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, and PC.
They’ve just released the Opening Trailer for Pac-Man’s adventure. In it, we see the 4 Ghost Gang members sneak into the village at night to cause trouble. By stealing the Golden Fruits, they awaken the spirit of the wicked Spooky. Trapped by the legendary Sir Pac-A-Lot, he is now ready to throw Pac-Land into chaos.
PAC-MAN WORLD 2 – Target Frame Rate and Resolutions for All Platforms
Following the trailer, new information was revealed on September 22nd. It unveils the target framerate and resolutions we can expect on Consoles. Specifically, we have:
- PS5 Pro, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S: Targeting 60 fps at 3840×2160 / Xbox Series S at 2560×1440.
- PS4 Pro, PS4 and Xbox One: PS4 Pro at 60 fps at 3840×2160 / PS4 and Xbox One at 60fps 1920×1080.
- Nintendo Switch 2: At 30fps Quality at 1920×1080 (Handheld) and 3840×2160 (Docked). At 60fps Performance at 1920×1080 both Handheld and Docked.
- Nintendo Switch: Targeting 30fps with Quality at 1920×1080 (Docked) and 1280×720 (Handheld). While Performance will run at 1440×810 (Docked) and 1024×576 (Handheld).
From what’s been shared on the official website, the maximum target seems to be exactly 60 fps. This also means no further enhancements on PS5 Pro, since the base PS5 is capable of running it all at 4K 60 fps. Meanwhile, Switch 2 in TV mode doesn’t seem to be able to deliver the constant combination of 60fps and 4K. You’ll get 60fps only in Full HD or 30fps at 4K.
