Torn Banner Studios has announced it is delaying the No More Room in Hell 2 1.0 launch until the first half of 2026. The delay will see the online co-op zombie shooter pass its initial October 1.0 release date, which was due to happen on the game’s first anniversary, having entered Early Access on October 22, 2024.

No More Room in Hell 2 launched in October 2024 and was due to leave Early Access on its first anniversary on October 22, 2025. However, developer Torn Banner Studios has officially confirmed it will now release in 2026.
In a lengthy post to its community on Steam, the developer explained the game required more time and that its highly anticipated launch will come with more features.

Why the Delay Happened
In a statement to fans, Torn Banner Studios stated that “systems weren’t ready” and “features like progression, economy, difficulty scaling, and performance just weren’t where they needed to be” for its October 2025 launch.
While delays are disappointing, Torn Banner has confirmed that NMRiH2 will continue to get monthly updates that address “optimization, polish, and bug fixes” during Early Access.
What Players Can Expect in 1.0
With the delay, Torn Banner says No More Room in Hell 2 will be getting a new, faster-paced game mode in late 2025 or early 2026, an additional map, an overhauled progression and perk system, and a finished economy rework with an account wipe.
One feature not coming in 1.0 is child zombies, which Torn Banner says won’t be in the final product as “the risks are too significant.” The developer explained that this feature would prevent the game from being available on certain platforms and could hinder its long-term success.
Looking Ahead
Delays are never wanted, but there’s reasons to look forward to the No More Room in Hell 2 full launch, with more features, health patches, and content planned for the coming months.
