Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is giving players another chance to get their hands on the upcoming fighter game ahead of its release. Following its closed beta late last year, Arc System Works has announced that an open beta is set to take place next month. The test will introduce new content including another playable character and additional stages.

 

Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls Open Beta Details

Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls is closing in on its launch on August 6, 2026 but before then, players will get the chance to experience the game next month at no cost.

Arc System Works announced through the game’s official X account that it will be hosting an open beta starting on July 24, 2026 until July 26, 2026. If you were lucky enough to participate in the closed beta back in December, this upcoming test builds on that version with even more content.

The open beta also marks the first opportunity for PC players to try the game. As long as you have a PlayStation account, PC users will be able to join Playstation 5 players during the test period. Cross-play functionality for the beta has not been confirmed yet.

   

On top of the closed beta roster which featured eight playable characters including Ghost Rider, Spider-Man, Captain America, Iron Man, Storm, Doctor Doom, Ms. Marvel, and Star-Lord, one of the newly revealed characters for launch, Blade, will also be joining next month.

Players can also expect new stages and additional game modes during the open beta, though specifics have yet to be announced in the coming weeks.

While the exact times have also yet to be revealed, it is more than likely that it will follow the same schedule from the closed beta which was 12AM PT / 3AM ET.
