Kiln Open Beta Starts Tomorrow, Register on Steam Now
Double Fine is hosting an open beta for Kiln tomorrow, April 9th. Registration is now open, with preorders also starting tomorrow.
The award-winning studio, Double Fine, is about to release their latest masterpiece this month but not before another big dose of excitement for fans. Kiln is making its debut on April 23rd but for eager fans who can’t wait to give it a try, an open beta is scheduled tomorrow.
Kiln Open Beta Details
From the makers of Psychonauts and Keeper, comes another one that is set to impress gamers and critics. Kiln is on its way to its launch day on April 23 and will be available for PC, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It is also a confirmed day-one addition on Xbox Game Pass.
While Game Pass members get an up for having access to the game at no additional cost, PC gamers are also getting a good deal. It’s not the full game but an open beta, exclusive to Steam, will be held tomorrow.
Registration is now open so if you’re interested, now is the time to sign up. Even better, you can invite up to three friends so you can start experiencing it with those you’ll probably play with when the game launches.
The open beta will run from April 9 at 10AM PT / 5PM GMT until April 11 11:59 PT or April 12 7:59AM GMT. Players who will participate in-game Participation Trophy, same as the one from the Closed Beta.
Speaking of, if you were able to join the Closed Beta and want to enter the Open Beta too, you’ll need to sign up again.
Kiln Game Editions and Pricing
Apart from the open beta details, the announcement also included more details about the launch. The base game is priced at $19.99 and a new Fired Up Edition is at $29.99. The latter includes the base game, premium glazes, stickers, attachments, custom pots, and bonus chips.
Preorders start tomorrow, April 9th. A preordered bonus is also confirmed but will be revealed the same time the preorder opens.
