Junkster Arrives to Game Pass on Day-One

Xbox Game Pass members have a new indie release to jump into today as Stormcloud Games officially launches Junkster, closing out the first wave of June’s Game Pass lineup.

Available starting June 16, 2026, Junkster releases across PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. For Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, it joins as a day-one addition, playable across Xbox Series X|S, PC, cloud, and handheld devices with no separate purchase required.

Junkster arrives alongside a busy stretch for the service, following the June 11 releases of Beastro, Frog Sqwad, and Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions. The lineup continues tomorrow with Wave 2 bringing two more day-one arrivals, Denshattack! and Shift at Midnight.

   

Junkster is a 3D action-platforming adventure that combines exploration, combat, and creative building mechanics. Players take control of UM-13, a resourceful construction robot stranded on a hazardous junkyard planet after an intergalactic cargo ship crashes. Armed with a robo-wrench, UM repurposes discarded scrap into useful tools and structures while searching for ship parts and recovering valuable lost cargo.

Featuring a visual style inspired by 1980s American comic books, the game unfolds through action-packed episodes filled with trash mutants, rogue robots, platforming challenges, and collectible Junkster toys that expand the game’s retro-inspired charm.
