Fallout 76 (FO76) is Bethesda’s multiplayer action RPG and a prequel chapter in the Fallout series. The first multiplayer chapter since the Interplay days, it was first revealed on 30 May 2018. It was followed by a disastrous launch in November of the same year, receiving strong negative feedback from fans and critics.
But over the years, Bethesda has brought many numerous additions and fixes to the experience, resolving many criticized aspects such as the absence of NPCs, few activities, and numerous bugs. We’re seeing a real relaunch of the game, with the recent announcement of a building revamp. Fallout 76 – C.A.M.P. Update Now Available
Among the big participants at Gamescom 2025, Bethesda’s Fallout 76 also brought some fantastic news. With the reveal in the Xbox Game Showcase section of an Update dedicated entirely to the C.A.M.P. and building. An update that’s been available since 2 September 2025.
Accompanied by the launch trailer that shows us the main new features. With a much-requested and hoped-for update that brings a new level of freedom to building. Thanks to heavily reduced limitations and restrictions. But also a new, more intuitive building menu to navigate.
Fallout 76: What’s New in the C.A.M.P. Revamp?
So we have a real C.A.M.P. Revamp. With the star of the Fallout 76 Update being the building component. We’re seeing in particular:
- More Relaxed Rules: Building rules are less obstructive to your creative side. Objects can now be snapped. The 3 placement modes are Snap, Collision, and Free Mode. Plus, there are fewer placement restrictions, including in the air.
- Workshop 2.0: The Workshop menu is now more intuitive and clean. Divided into Quest Items, Recent, or by Chronological order. The various pieces are divided into 12 Categories depending on their type and use.
- Modify Menu: The customization menu also got a revamp. With access to Edit Mode and the Wallpapers, Locks, Blueprints, and Replace modes. In particular, you can now lock your favorite items to prevent accidental selling, trading, or scrapping.
Also including a slew of balances, fixes, and additions. Of course, this includes combat, from weapons to perks. The update is also accompanied by Season 22: Appalachian Modern Living, with lots of new decorations to unlock for your dream home.
