Elden Ring: Nintendo Switch 2 Version Rated

Almost one month since the official launch of Nintendo Switch 2, new games continue to roll out on the new Nintendo console. Recently, a Switch 2 version of Elden Ring appeared on the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) website.

News was spotted and shared by various users like Stealth40k. The game will feature the Tarnished Edition, which includes the base game and the DLC Shadow of the Erdtree, with new armor, weapons, and a customization option for Torrent (your mount).

Elden Ring Switch 2: Edition and Porting Details

Game version was first announced during the April Nintendo Direct. Confirmed for 2025, the additional content will also be available on other platforms. With an exciting timeline, many users are speculating the release date reveal will happen at the Bandai Namco Summer Showcase 2025 on July 2nd.

Another discussed detail is the game’s format. Many are hoping for the complete game on cartridge and not a Game Key Card format. The game could easily fit within the 64GB maximum of the NS2 physical version.
