Today marks the release of Echoes of Aincrad, the game based on the anime Sword Art Online. This title is an Action-JRPG set in Aincrad, the location featured in the first part of the first season. For the first time in the series, players create their own hero rather than playing as a known SAO character. Echoes of Aincrad officially releases on July 10. In Europe, the game unlocks at 0:00 CET, while in the UK, it arrives on July 9 at 23:00 or 22:00 UTC. The game features quests, dungeons, combat encounters, and major boss battles. Battles include standard attacks, dodging, stamina management, and Sword Skills. A total of six weapon types await you:
